Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary to support the ED and Treatment Center staff, providing direct patient care under RN supervision and handling clerical, stocking and cleaning tasks as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and CPR certification; certifications such as CNA, Paramedic, or EMT with experience are preferred. The shift is 7pm–3am, full-time (36 hours/week) with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Certifications such as CNA, Paramedic, or EMT with field experience or nursing student with clinical exposure are considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support ED/Treatment Center nursing and medical staff in patient care under RN supervision.
• Provide direct patient care and perform non-licensure procedures as needed.
• Assist with unit supply, clerical tasks, stocking and cleaning as required.
