Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient charts for new admissions and enter admission orders and demographics.
• Greet patients, families, visitors, and care team members; answer calls and route information requests.
• Maintain and update orders to chart; transfer charts to Health Information Management.
• Participate in unit and hospital educational programs to maintain skills and competency.
• Perform patient chart maintenance and ensure data accessibility and signatures as needed.
• Receive, sort, and deliver unit mail, supplies, and inventory; photocopy and file documents.
