Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or social science related field.

• Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
• Licensure appropriate to education and role.
• Other certificates as required by unit/service.

Responsibilities

• Manage crisis intervention events in the emergency departments.
• Collaborate with multiple departments, medical staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safe implementation of crisis intervention techniques and improve patient/staff safety.
• Monitor intervention status and ensure appropriate measures before, during and after the crisis.
