Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll handle a wide range of emergencies, from triage to critical care, alongside doctors and VEG teammates to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state is required; VTS in ECC a plus.
• 1+ years in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; teamwork mindset.
• Fine motor skills for handling patients and equipment.
• Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to 25 kg (40 kg with assistance).
• Willingness to work in a noisy environment and flexible shifts.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Deliver treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Manage IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and related therapies.
• Collaborate with doctors to shape care plans and keep care flowing.
• Perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubes placement.
• Assist with CPR and emergency procedures as trained.
• Communicate clearly with pet parents and team members.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as needed.
