Job summary

VEG in Minnesota is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced emergency team. You will be on the front lines of care, handling emergencies from triage through critical care, and providing compassionate support to pet parents.

You will work with doctors and a dedicated team to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care, with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and ongoing ER education in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a veterinary technician role.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person with empathy and respect throughout tests and treatments.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with doctors to shape treatment plans and ensure smooth care flow.
• Perform CPR and master anesthesia/analgesia procedures as needed.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubing placement.
