Job summary

The Dollywood Company seeks a Communications Officer to provide Safety and Security Dispatch and Communications Services for all Dollywood properties. This role answers calls from Hosts/Guests, dispatches to the proper teams, and maintains accurate CAD records while upholding Dollywood's mission and values.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-driven, and able to make quick safety-critical decisions in high-stress situations. Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills with Word, Outlook, and Excel mandatory.
• CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Answer and field Emergency and Non-Emergency calls for service from hosts and guests.
• Track and document status, locations, and times of responders in CAD.
• Dispatch Armed Security and Safety with correct location and details.
• Identify and prioritize Emergency and Non-Emergency calls.
• Make safety-critical decisions calmly in crises.
• Monitor alarm system and weather radar for safety closures.
• Monitor email and group communications for safety concerns.
• Enter work orders to Maintenance ensuring guest excellence and safety.
• Coordinate response with Police, Fire, and EMS in emergencies.
• Contact guests and hosts via Park Pulse or other means.
• Communicate with park staff via radio or phone.
• Operate in fast-paced, changing environment.
