Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks a Telecom Operator for Health Connections in Topeka, KS. This full-time evening shift role requires handling incoming/outgoing calls, monitoring alarms, and coordinating emergency communications using multiple software systems.

Qualifications

• 3 months of related experience required.
• Knowledge of HICS Emergency Notification Process (required).
• Ability to multitask with interruptions and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer and distribute all incoming calls promptly and accurately.
• Provide operator assistance to callers as needed.
• Monitor the Simplex system and take appropriate actions.
• Activate Emergency Tone for Code Blue and Severe Weather when required.
• Make overhead announcements (Code Blue, Severe Weather, Fire Alarm).
• Document processes and maintain logs for reference.
