Job summary

North Edge Technology, an Akima company, seeks Field Engineers to join the Emergency Management Sustainment team across 100+ military installations worldwide. You will ensure Giant Voice systems and LMR hardware are operational and supported, traveling up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities include design, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and on-site end-user training, with close collaboration across PM/Lead, Engineering, Security, and Site teams.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance is required (or ability to obtain and maintain one).
• High School or GED equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Emergency Management systems: Giant Voice Exp or LMR Exp.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, support, and repair Giant Voice and LMR hardware/software at field locations.
• Provide incident management and adhere to SLA metrics.
• Train end-users and create/maintain service documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Site and Systems Administration teams.
