Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies and high-stress calls.

Responsibilities

• Receives emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatches the appropriate agency.
• Logs incoming calls and maintains dispatch records; queries information in LINK/NCIC and enters data.
• Operates computer, telephone, radio, and related equipment to support dispatch operations.
• Performs daily drills and tracks units.
• Reads manuals and reference materials as part of ongoing training.
