Job summary

The position is part-time with potential for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. Minimum education is a high school diploma with 3+ years in customer service or dispatch;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years of documented customer service or dispatch experience.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Experience with CCTV and alarm systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the nature and priority of calls and initiate appropriate personnel.
• Input and retrieve information from Public Safety databases and monitor communications and access control systems.
• Maintain dispatch and records systems data and logs.
• Communicate clearly with students, faculty, staff and emergency responders.
• Interpret instructions and priorities to ensure accurate incident handling.
• Monitor CCTV and perform related duties as assigned.
