Qualifications

• High School or equivalent supplemented by courses in electronics, data processing, or related fields.
• Two years emergency Telecommunicator experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise call taking and dispatch operations to ensure rapid, accurate service.
• Coordinate CAD, E911, and radio systems and monitor performance against standards.
• Review shift compliance, investigate exceptions, and provide staff coaching.
• Prepare daily reports on attendance, overtime, and incidents.
• Act as assistant County Warning Point during weather events and disasters.
