Job summary

The role requires proficiency with radio systems and the Medical Priority Dispatch System, delivering pre-arrival guidance and coordinating non-emergency transports as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls to include 911 and administrative lines, via voice, text, and TTY/TTD.
• Screens incoming requests for law enforcement, fire, EMS or other emergency services.
• Inputs call information into CAD system and coordinates EMS and dispatcher data.
• Operates two-way radio and communication equipment to dispatch units and relay instructions.
• Provides pre-arrival instructions and coordinates multi-agency responses as needed.
