Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients in our Emergency Center.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, and facilitating registration, scheduling, and billing with a focus on accuracy and privacy. The ideal candidate has at least two years of PSR experience in healthcare, strong customer service, and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Patient Services Representative in a hospital/ER/clinic setting.
• Experience with patient registration, admissions, scheduling, and insurance verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics, insurance, and medical information.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments; perform check-in and check-out.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and patient payments; process payments accurately.
• Maintain logs and patient information according to procedures; ensure records are accurate.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; communicate with patients and staff professionally.
• Support facility operations and patient flow to ensure excellent service.
