Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Current Virginia State EMT Certification and/or National Registry required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• One (1) year EMT, military corpsman or clinical related experience preferred.
• AHA ACLS, PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support procedures to assist nurses and medical staff.
• Assist with data collection, specimen collection, and patient care procedures.
• Participate in infection control and performance improvement processes.
• Support regulatory readiness and unit risk management.
• Perform venipuncture and start IVs; perform 12-lead EKG when applicable.
