Job summary

Albemarle is seeking a staff trainer for the call center who will onboard operators and assist the supervisor with clerical duties. The role responds to incoming calls, emergency codes/alarms, and pages, contacting the appropriate personnel as situations require.

Key tasks include training using an objective-based program, documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and supporting the operator team with manuals and special projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as hospital switchboard/paging operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-the-job training for call center operator staff using an objective-based program.
• Respond to incoming codes, alarms, pages, and messages and contact the appropriate personnel.
• Interpret and execute emergency code procedures using primary and secondary call center systems.
• Communicate necessary information to departmental staff, management, and emergency personnel.
• Document and effectively track problem situations; maintain logbooks and forms.
