Job summary

Bozeman Health Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist to deliver trauma-informed and urgent behavioral health services in adult and pediatric emergency settings across the health continuum. The licensed clinician will provide consultations, brief assessments, and care coordination within a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires Montana licensure (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT), current BLS certification, and may involve day-shift coverage with Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or comparable clinical Master’s degree.
• Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Montana.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, urgent and emergent behavioral health services in emergency settings.
• Conduct brief psychosocial, drug and alcohol assessments; crisis intervention; hold assessments and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with medical teams, families, referents, and community providers; ensure transitions of care.
