Job summary

The Licensed Therapist at Bozeman Health works within a multidisciplinary team on an acute adult inpatient behavioral health unit. You will provide therapy, discharge planning, case management, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention to stabilize patients in crisis and support safe community return.

MT-licensed professionals collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, document accurately, and address psychosocial needs of patients and families throughout hospitalization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed or licensure eligible in Montana (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy (individual, group, and family) for adults on the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and discharge planning.
• Document clinical information and contribute to treatment plans.
• Perform crisis intervention and assess psychosocial needs.
• Assist with referrals to social services and community resources.
• Maintain timely completion of required trainings and certifications.
• Engage in care coordination and care transition activities.
