The role reports to a General Manager or Deputy General Manager and directs a division’s plans, budgets and programs during an active emergency response.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience managing an organization of multiple units including directing the budget and personnel.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field with two years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements Public Private Partnership strategy for Sustainability Plan and energy resiliency.
• Guides rebuild of energy infrastructure and plans for greater resiliency post-disaster.
• Plans and directs County energy, utilities and environmental programs and budgets.
• Directs countywide programs in energy management, EV infrastructure and sustainability.
• Represents department in contracts and partnerships with agencies and stakeholders.
• Oversees fleet modernization and electrification efforts.
