Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of analytical experience, two of which must be at journey-level analyst or higher.
• Five years of analytical experience, two of which must be at journey-level analyst or higher.
• Experience in human resources, budget, finance, contracts or other closely-related administrative fields.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, assigns, and evaluates the work of journey-level analysts; develops, implements and monitors work plans to achieve objectives; provides input and monitors performance; conducts performance development and training.
• Interviews and selects staff; establishes performance requirements; monitors performance; provides coaching and mentoring for improvement; applies disciplinary actions per policy.
• Performs complex, sensitive research using qualitative and quantitative methods to support decision making; collects data from multiple sources; interprets conflicting data.
• Compiles information into tables, spreadsheets, and data files to meet analytical requirements; communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develops options and program/policy recommendations to improve operations based on research results; prepares sensitive reports and communications.
