Job summary

National Car Rental in Jackson, Mississippi is hiring a friendly Greeter to deliver first-class service at the rental counter and Emerald Aisle desk. You will welcome members, help customers select vehicles, and guide them through the rental process to keep transactions quick and smooth.

This on-site role requires at least 18 years old, a High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience. A valid driver's license with clean record is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship needed now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of continuous customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Work proactively with shuttlers, auto detailers, return agents and managers to ensure proper vehicle supply.
• Welcome members to the facility when they exit the bus or arrive on the lot.
• Direct customers to exit booth, provide local directions and maps and provide return directions where applicable.
• Assist members with questions and concerns to minimize counter visits.
• Communicate customer service issues to management.
• Maintain Emerald Aisle for cleanliness and ensure hangtag information is completed correctly.
• Provide upgraded vehicles on request and maintain a regular attendance and punctuality.
