Job summary

Redolent, Inc. seeks an EMC Engineer - Hardware Product Compliance Engineer for a long‑term contract in the data center hardware space.

You will apply EMC standards (FCC, CISPR32/35, KN, CNS), perform EMI measurements, operate spectrum analyzers, and coordinate cross‑discipline teams to ensure compliant designs and documentation.

Hands‑on testing, data analysis, and engaging with regulatory processes will be key, with DOE rate expectations.

Qualifications

• Proficient with EMC Standards (FCC, CISPR32/35, KN, CNS etc.).
• Experience in data analysis of EMC measurements.
• Deep dive chassis and board level debugging.
• Hands-on operation of EMC spectrum analyzers/receivers.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or 3–5 years related experience as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Prevent compliance issues by collaborating with design teams and reviewing data.
• Develops compliance plans and evaluates new methodologies.
• Organizes compliance program with test labs and equipment.
• Determines compliance by enforcing tests and analyzing results.
• Isolates and resolves non-compliance issues and recommends changes.
• Documents compliance through approvals, reports, and test records.
• Maintains team progress and documents action items for compliance.
• Compiles engineering compliance reports from measurement data.
• Keeps up with emerging compliance practices and standards.
• Enhances company reputation by delivering value and ownership.
