Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior EMC Design and Compliance Engineer to join the Electrical Engineering Design team. In this role, you will review system‑level electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, design robust pre‑compliance and compliance test plans, and independently execute and supervise EMC testing — including travel to HQ and third‑party labs to oversee test campaigns.

Strong consideration will be given to candidates equally well‑versed in EMC design able to review

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MIL‑STD‑461 and MIL‑STD‑464 EMC test methods and requirements.
• Experience with radiated and conducted emissions/immunity testing from pre‑to full compliance campaigns.
• Hands‑on experience with EMC test equipment including EMI receivers, signal generators, LISNs and antennas.

Responsibilities

• Define product, module and interface‑level EMC requirements and develop test strategies.
• Own and operate the local EMC lab; plan, execute, supervise and troubleshoot EMC testing at third‑party labs and internal facilities.
• Evaluate test data and correlate emissions with root causes; implement design countermeasures.
• Communicate findings and design trade‑offs to internal stakeholders and suppliers; negotiate design changes and schedules.
• Review schematics, PCB stack‑ups, cable terminations, and layouts for EMC risk; provide guidance on PCB components and grounding strategies.
• Travel up to 20% to support test campaigns.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.
