Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an EMC Design Engineer to evaluate, design, and optimize EMC solutions across Apple products. You will apply first-principles thinking, collaborate with design and test teams, and drive solutions that are manufacturable and innovative.

You will review mechanical and PCB designs, define validation requirements, and lead test plans to ensure EMC compliance across global products. A strong foundation in EMC, ESD, RF, and signal integrity is required.

Qualifications

• Proven EMC design experience with ESD, RF and SI concepts.
• Strong collaboration across design, test and manufacturing teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review enclosure, connector and cable designs for EMC compliance.
• Assess PCB schematics and layouts for emissions and immunity control.
• Define component specs and validation procedures for system EMC.
• Create test plans and supervise execution and reporting.
• Define validation requirements and train test engineers at factories and labs.
• Troubleshoot EMC failures with cross-functional partners.
• Analyze data from multiple designs and recommend changes.
