Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an EMC Design and Test Engineer to integrate EMC principles into product architecture, schematics, and layout, while supporting system‑level EMC testing. You will help ensure regulatory compliance across the development lifecycle and work with global teams to mitigate EMC risks.

The role involves designing for EMC, developing test plans, and performing investigations with opportunities for mentorship and career growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of design for EMC and test experience.
• Strong understanding of EMC/EMI test methods and subassembly validation.
• Experience with EMC standards such as IEC 61326-1.

Responsibilities

• Design for EMC compliance across product architecture, schematics and layout.
• Develop EMC test plans and perform pre‑compliance and compliance testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for EMC issues.
• Prepare detailed test reports and regulatory submission documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and mechanical teams to mitigate EMC risk.
• Mentor junior engineers on EMC design principles.
