Job summary

Aspire Fertility in Austin is seeking an Embryology Lab Assistant to support the IVF lab operations and administrative workflows. This entry-level role includes full training in our lab administrative processes and support procedures, with no direct handling of eggs, sperm, or embryos.

You will work closely with the Lab Supervisor or Director, embryologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate records across EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Weekend rotation availability.
• Careful attention to detail with records, labels, and data entry.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in IVF lab admin procedures.
• Collaborative communication with embryologists, physicians and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Support embryologists through time-sensitive daily lab workflows.
• Witness lab procedures to protect patient safety and compliance.
• Run daily quality control checks and keep QC records accurate.
• Prepare paperwork, labels and cycle documentation in the EMR.
• Receive, pack, ship and transfer samples following protocols.
• Track inventory and order supplies to keep the lab stocked.
• Generate and send reports to providers and clinics.
• Handle calls, emails and visitors and coordinate with clinical teams.
