Job summary

Sew Fabulous is seeking a dependable Embroidery Technician to join our team in Summerville, SC. Starting at $16 per hour with no experience, training is available for the right candidate who shows reliability and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include operating a Melco embroidery machine, preparing garments, hooping, loading designs, and ensuring quality. Ability to stand long hours and work afternoons/evenings/Saturdays is needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn embroidery equipment and processes.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Melco embroidery machine.
• Prepare garments, hats, bags for embroidery.
• Hoop and position items accurately.
• Load designs, select threads, monitor stitch-outs.
• Inspect finished products for placement, color, spelling, quality.
• Trim, clean, fold, and package orders.
• Maintain organized inventory of threads and supplies.
• Follow production schedules and quality-control procedures.
• Keep embroidery area clean and safe.
• Communicate promptly about production issues or delays.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed

Full-Time | Summerville, South Carolina | Starting at $16 per hour with no experience

Sew Fabulous is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Embroidery Technician to join our growing team. Experience is welcome, but we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, patience, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and help maintain our Melco commercial embroidery machine
• Prepare garments, hats, bags, and other items for embroidery
• Hoop and position items accurately
• Load designs, select threads, and monitor stitch-outs
• Inspect finished products for placement, color, spelling, and overall quality
• Trim, clean, fold, and package completed orders
• Maintain organized thread, supply, and garment inventory
• Follow production schedules, customer proofs, and quality-control procedures
• Keep the embroidery area clean, safe, and organized
• Communicate promptly about production issues, mistakes, or delays
• Assist with other production and studio tasks when needed

Commercial embroidery, sewing, garment production, printing, manufacturing, or quality-control experience is helpful but not required. We care most about character, reliability, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
