Job summary

Quince is seeking an Embroidery Quality Control Specialist to oversee embroidery decoration quality across pre-production, inventory receive, and returns at third-party decorators. You will catch defects, set standards with partners, and ensure perfect customer work.

This on-site role reports to QA and supports overall production excellence. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in embroidery QC, strong vendor management, and proficiency with Cadence, Wilcom, Tajima, and related tools, plus solid

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in embroidery production, quality control, or decoration operations.
• Proficiency with embroidery software for file review and digitizing verification.
• Experience managing vendor or decorator relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft detailed notes.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Familiar with Cadence, Printavo, Google Sheets, and photography documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-production approval — review art proofs and assess sew-out samples against order specs; document notes.
• Manage third-party decorator relationships; establish quality standards and inspect during production.
• Perform final shipping inspections for quality, color accuracy, and placement.
• Track quality metrics; maintain records of approvals, rejections, and rework; report trends.
• Conduct daily quality audits with decorators; identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain audit trail in Cadence; organize digital quality files for compliance and dispute resolution.
