Job summary

Galls is seeking a Seamstress and Embroidery Operator in Raleigh, NC to alter uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals. You will use embroidery machines to place logos and personalization on garments, hats and name-strips, ensuring accurate measurements and fittings.

The production team role supports our national footprint and value-added services. Responsibilities include taking measurements, operating a heat press, performing alterations, sewing, mending, and embroidery setup

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in alterations and embroidering preferred.
• Able to read/receive work instructions in English.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per Work Instruction Document.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform embroidery and alterations with accuracy on garments, hats, name-strips, patches, and striping.
• Adjust embroidery setups and operate embroidery machines; perform minor repairs.
• Meet production deadlines and inspect merchandise against order specs.
• Other duties as needed.
