Galls is seeking a Seamstress and Embroidery Operator to alter uniforms and gear for public safety professionals. You will ensure accurate measurements, mark garments for alterations, and apply logos and personalization using embroidery machines.

The role emphasizes precision, quality, and timely completion, with opportunities to work on a range of fabrics and gear that serve public safety personnel. Previous alterations and embroidery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with alterations and embroidery is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow English work instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per the Work Instruction.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy.
• Adjust embroidery setups and operate embroidery machines.
• Meet production deadlines and inspect merchandise against specs.
• Perform minor machine repairs if needed.
