Job summary

jobgether seeks a Carbon Services, Embodied Carbon Analyst in the United States to quantify embodied carbon for buildings and portfolios. You will perform wbLCA, review results, and translate complex data into practical recommendations for design and construction.

The role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, ongoing professional development, and effective communication with clients to drive decarbonization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, structural engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• At least one year of full-time experience applying LCA in real estate or built environment.
• Proficiency with OneClick LCA and EC3/TallyCAT.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM 360 for material takeoffs.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; ability to interpret large datasets.
• Experience documenting LCA work for LEED or similar certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quantify embodied carbon for new development and tenant improvements across projects.
• Perform wbLCA and identify opportunities to reduce life-cycle impacts.
• Review wbLCA calculations and ensure accurate outputs.
• Collect, organize, and analyze energy, materials, waste, and transport data.
• Develop reports, visuals, and recommendations communicating performance.
• Manage work to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Support client communications, data requests, and presentations of results.
• Research sustainable design approaches and emerging best practices.
