Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Linthicum, Maryland, is seeking a Vulnerability Researcher to reverse engineer wireless and embedded systems, uncover security weaknesses, and develop proof-of-concept exploits. You will work with CNO developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Required are a Bachelor’s in CS/EE or related field and strong C/C++ and Python skills, plus experience with IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in C/C++ and Python in Linux environments with a focus on low-level programming for reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer wireless and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities and assess security impact.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits for discovered vulnerabilities following DevOps practices.
• Analyze firmware, software protections, and wireless protocols to uncover security flaws.
• Create and enhance custom tools for analyzing binaries and firmware.
• Collaborate with developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers in a fast-paced team.
• Solve complex technical challenges with minimal predefined solutions.
