Job summary
Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Vulnerability Researcher to head reverse engineering and vulnerability research for mission-critical government programs in Arlington, VA. The role emphasizes leading task execution, guiding junior engineers, and delivering proof-of-concept exploits on complex targets.
The ideal candidate has a strong cybersecurity research background with hands-on experience in IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra, Python, and C/C++.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience with C/C++, Python, Linux CLI and solving hard technical problems.
- Proven ability to lead technical task execution and guide team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, prioritization, and scheduling for reverse engineering and vulnerability research
- Reverse engineer wireless and embedded systems to identify security weaknesses and analyze protections
- Develop maintainable proof-of-concept exploits following DevOps practices
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members
- Support business development and proposal efforts
