Ezurio is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and support Wi‑Fi firmware and drivers in a hybrid Akron, OH setting. You will work close to the metal, develop RTOS-based firmware, and integrate with Linux host drivers while coordinating with RF hardware teams in the USA and Taiwan.

The role emphasizes strong debugging, root‑cause analysis, and collaboration with customers and program management to meet co‑development requirements. Remote work is considered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years embedded software experience.
• Strong C programming in memory-constrained RTOS environments.
• Experience debugging across hardware/software boundaries; comfort with RF firmware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Wi‑Fi radio firmware and drivers.
• Bring up silicon, port SDKs, and validate radio calibration data.
• Develop RTOS firmware and host drivers under Linux with real-time scheduling.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and follow secure development practices.
• Collaborate with RF hardware teams and customers to clarify requirements.
