Job summary

OSI Engineering, Inc. is seeking a generalist embedded firmware engineer to span the full firmware stack across RTOS, wireless, and sensor drivers for a next‑gen EEG-powered wearable.

You will collaborate with EE leads and silicon vendors, and drive bring-up and validation of subsystems end‑to‑end. The role requires hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS on Nordic platforms, ESP32 with ESP-IDF, and STM32, plus strong lab skills with JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers.

Qualifications

• 5 years embedded firmware with end-to-end subsystem ownership.
• Hands-on Zephyr RTOS on Nordic silicon—peripheral drivers, deep-sleep, low-power optimization.
• Hands-on ESP-IDF firmware on ESP32-family silicon—Wi‑Fi/BLE, multi-radio coexistence, OTA.

Responsibilities

• Own subsystem-level firmware under the Lead FW's architectural direction.
• Deliver subsystem from spec through driver implementation, bring-up, and validation.
• Rotate across primary domains as roadmap demands.
• Perform hands-on bring-up and debug—power-on, peripheral bring-up, bus validation, timing analysis.
