Job summary

Ezurio seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and support Wi‑Fi radio firmware and drivers for its wireless connectivity products. You will work closely with RF hardware teams in the USA and Taiwan, PMs, and customers to deliver reliable embedded software in a resource-constrained environment.

The role involves RTL register-level work, RTOS firmware, Linux host drivers, and debugging complex RF issues. Hybrid Akron, Ohio with remote options and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years embedded software/firmware experience in electronics design/manufacturing.
• Direct Wi‑Fi or wireless firmware/driver bring-up experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Wi‑Fi radio subsystems and host drivers.
• Bring up Wi‑Fi silicon on new hardware platforms with vendor SDKs and calibration data.
• Develop RTOS-based radio firmware and Linux-host Wi‑Fi drivers with real‑time constraints.
• Write clean, well-documented code following Ezurio standards and secure practices.
• Support 802.11 protocol features and power management in coordination with vendor stacks.
