Job summary
Toyota North America is seeking an Engineer, Automated & Electronics Design to develop and integrate embedded software for next-generation vehicles. You will work with global teams to design, validate, and launch ADAS and automated driving features, ensuring high quality and system integrity.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in automotive software, strong C/C++, and experience with requirements management and automotive networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years embedded software/vehicle systems experience.
- 3+ years in ADAS or automotive applications.
- Proficient in C/C++, Python, MATLAB or Simulink.
- Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS/POLARION/Jama).
- Knowledge of automotive networks (CAN/CAN FD/Ethernet) and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and validate embedded software for vehicle functions and ADAS.
- Manage and verify system/software requirements across the development lifecycle.
- Perform software integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
- Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support validation activities including vehicle testing and CV/ECU integration.
- Contribute to engineering reviews and best practices.
