Job summary

Eaton's Critical Power Solutions Division seeks an Embedded Testing Lead Engineer based in a hybrid role in Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA. This role leads design verification, test automation, and lab testing for RPP, DCPD, and PDU products, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in embedded systems, firmware testing, and system level verification.

Responsibilities

• Define and own overall test strategies and verification approaches for RPP, STS, and PDU products.
• Lead the development of test plans, specifications, verification matrices, procedures, and validation reports.
• Lead manual and automated testing for embedded firmware, controls, communication interfaces, and system-level functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, Robot Framework, C#, and related technologies.
• Oversee CI/CD integration of automated test solutions and laboratory validation systems.
