Job summary

The Eaton Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Product Certification Engineer to drive regulatory compliance for data center power equipment in a hybrid Raleigh, NC role. You will collaborate with engineering, validation, and manufacturing teams to develop certification strategies and ensure regulatory alignment across UL, IEC, and ISO standards.

Relocation assistance within the US to Raleigh is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years in product compliance, certification, safety or regulatory engineering.
Experience with certification agencies and standards such as UL, Intertek, TÜV, CSA, IEC, IEEE.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory accreditation requirements.
Experience supporting compliance programs for power electronics, UPS, data center power, or similar electrical products.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Interface with multifunctional teams to ensure product compliance and act as a consultant in agency requirements.
Develop compliance test plans and review facilities, supervising tests conducted by others.
Analyze test data for validity and compliance with specifications.
Prepare and review test data for submittal to safety agencies.
Promote safety and environmental compliance in design and certification processes.
