Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Test Engineer in Chillicothe, IL to develop software test automation and lead hardware-in-the-loop testing for embedded control systems. The role coordinates onshore and offshore testing activities, defines test strategies, and ensures high-quality verification and validation across off-highway machinery, automotive and industrial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• Experience developing Python automation scripts for embedded/control systems.
• Experience with Opal-RT or similar HIL platforms.
• Knowledge of CAN/J1939 and data link protocols.
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing methodologies.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and test ports.
