Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing, embedded systems, or related field
• Understanding of electronic control systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software integration
• Hands-on experience testing and debugging software, firmware, and hardware-based systems
• Experience developing programmatic test solutions or automation using Python, C, and/or C++
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with ALM tools supporting requirements traceability and test management
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies like Scrum in embedded environments

Responsibilities

• Review system and software requirements for testability
• Develop detailed test plans and procedures with minimal guidance
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases with 100% requirements traceability
• Perform hardware/software system and integration testing
• Document results and produce clear test reports
• Maintain communication with peers, developers, and stakeholders
• Assist with laboratory equipment setup, tracking, organization, and maintenance
• Design, develop and maintain test automation solutions to improve coverage and efficiency
