Qualifications

• 6+ years in embedded software, controls, or hardware development.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• Experience with power electronics and energy storage systems.
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of engineers.
• Establish technical direction, architecture standards, and best practices.
• Drive project planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with product management, PM, and executive leadership.
• Guide firmware architecture, control algorithms, and hardware integration.
• Coordinate with operations on PCB fabrication and manufacturing readiness.
• Manage relationships with external partners, contractors, and OEMs.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, and resolve engineering challenges.
• Define coding standards, testing strategies, and version control.
• Present strategy, status, and risks to executives.
