Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design, modify, and evaluate embedded software for power supply products. You will work with hardware, electrical, mechanical engineers and program managers on projects of extensive scope.

The role requires strong C programming, assembly experience, and a solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and testing. A collaborative, fast-paced environment with rigorous documentation and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, or software engineering.
• Experience with embedded C programming and in-circuit debugging.
• Strong problem solving, communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and firmware for power supply products.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, mechanical engineers and PMs.
• Prepare software design and test documentation.
• Contribute to code reviews to improve stability.
