Job summary

Green Key Resources in Mountain View is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing software team with hands-on ownership across architecture, system design, and integration.

You will mentor engineers, own software execution from concept to deployment, establish coding standards, automate testing and CI/CD, and oversee integration and validation to meet strict performance and reliability requirements. This role requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading or managing engineers.
• Strong architecture and systems-thinking background, ideally in embedded, robotics, or autonomous systems.
• BS/MS in CS, Software Engineering, EE, or related.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers while staying hands-on in architecture decisions, design reviews, debugging, and high-impact investigations.
• Own software execution from concept through deployment — priorities, milestones, and resource plans.
• Establish engineering practices: code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, architecture reviews, and coding standards.
• Oversee system integration, testing, and validation for performance and reliability in the field.
