Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Dev Engineer for the Leo Customer Terminal Software in Austin, TX. You will design, develop, and deploy embedded software for customer terminals as part of the Project Leo constellation initiative.

The role covers the full SDLC, with emphasis on real-time embedded systems and Linux/RTOS environments. You will collaborate with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new/existing systems.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within Project Leo.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements, design, code, test and coverage.
• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages.
• Work with Linux and/or RTOS and review schematics and debugging techniques.
