Job summary

Teradyne IST Software is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software interfacing with hardware and OS components. You will deliver robust APIs and services for high-performance test platforms and collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers.

Responsibilities include developing on Linux and embedded stacks, debugging complex integrations, and applying AI-assisted tools to improve software quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded and system-level applications.
• Experience developing software on Linux platforms, including user-space apps, device drivers, bootloaders, and cross-compilation.
• Experience with Agile software development practices and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions in C and C++ for Linux-based and embedded systems.
• Debug and optimize hardware/software integration issues across system- and board-level components.
• Contribute to software quality and engineering efficiency using modern software practices and AI-assisted tools.
