Job summary
Teradyne IST Software is seeking a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for cutting-edge test platforms. Design, implement, and maintain software that interfaces with hardware and the OS while providing robust APIs and services.
You will collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions across the full embedded stack, from Linux device drivers to user-space apps.
Qualifications
- Experience with C/C++ on Linux for embedded or system-level apps.
- Experience with Agile software practices.
- Experience in debugging hardware/software integration.
- Experience with Linux user-space, drivers, and bootloaders.
- Experience with Python scripting for automation.
- Experience in test, instrumentation and automation domains.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software interfacing with hardware and OS.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
- Work across the full embedded stack from hardware interaction to application software and integration.
