Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in Ohio is seeking an embedded software test specialist to join the Verification & Validation team. You will lead design qualification and validation for new lift truck products, coordinating testing, automation, requirements analysis, and project activities.

This role focuses on MIL/SIL/HIL simulations, automated test frameworks, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to improve product quality and testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with 6+ years related experience
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• Ability to travel occasionally with overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Lead design qualification and validation activities for new product development to improve quality
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage
• Shift on-vehicle testing to MIL/SIL/HIL environments to speed development
• Design and execute MIL/SIL/HIL test plans and procedures
• Analyze test results and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
• Stay current on testing methodologies and contribute to robust processes
