Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 2+ years or 8+ years without degree.
• Minimum 4 years in computer/software engineering field.
• Minimum 4 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with Greenhills RTOS and device drivers for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of modern C++ techniques and Agile Scrum/Kanban processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for embedded targeted hardware following requirements and design docs.
• Interface with test engineers to influence test automation.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams on interfaces and performance.
• Design, document, and develop functional and unit tests per standards.
• Investigate root causes and implement solutions, independently or in teams.
• Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing.
• Use modeling tools to establish operating data and evaluate results.
• Participate in peer reviews and defect tracking/resolution.
