SimVentions is seeking an experienced embedded software developer to work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, supporting a government team developing new systems. You will code on embedded microcontrollers and build Android and Desktop applications to control and interact with hardware, with emphasis on Kotlin and Java for Android and GUI development.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, US Citizenship, and ability to operate in a fast-paced field environment, plus travel up to 10% across the

Formación

• 5 years experience with embedded software development related to microcontrollers or similar devices.
• Knowledge of C, Kotlin and Java.
• Knowledge of Android/Desktop GUI development.
• Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite and socket programming.
• Ability to debug hardware-software interfaces using test equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Code on embedded microcontrollers and develop Android and Desktop applications that interact with embedded systems.
• Develop and support Android applications using Kotlin.
• Develop and support Desktop applications.
• Support testing and assessment of embedded systems locally and at external locations.
• Collaborate with government team in on-site meetings.
