Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer II in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role sits in the Flight Management & Controls team and requires collaboration with software and systems engineers in a hybrid on-site/off-site arrangement.

The candidate will participate in design, development, integration and verification activities for Military Avionics solutions, with emphasis on new tech, navigation standards and real-time data handling.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Support software development lifecycle activities (requirements, design, code, testing, etc.).
• Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver program milestones.
• Collaborate with system/software engineers to support Flight Management Systems development.
